Breakdown: UFC: Hall vs Silva

 Breakdown: UFC: Hall vs Silva

UFC Fight Night on ESPN+: Hall vs. Silva October 31 Exclusively on ESPN+ - ESPN Press Room U.S.

Hall vs Silva: 185lbs:

Hall(-220), MMA Record: 15-9, UFC Record: 8-7, Current Streak: Two Wins: Hall has been hovering around the top ten of the middleweight division for a couple of years now. Right when you think is going to go on that three fight win streak he needs, he loses a fight and goes back down the rankings. His entertainment value is some of the highest in the UFC. He nearly killed a man on the season of The Ultimate Fighter that he was on. What is more entertaining than that? His striking will always be some of the best in the division. He will always bring the heat no matter who is in front of him. A win this Saturday would be the biggest of his career and would get him one step closer to that elusive title shot. Grades: Striking=9.25/10, Grappling=8/10

*IMPORTANT STATS: 3.31 Sig. Strikes Landed per Minute, 50% Striking Accuracy, 3.57 Sig. Strikes Absorbed per Minute, 53% Striking Defense

NOTABLE WINS: Jotko(TKO), Mousasi(TKO), T. Santos(UD), Leban(TKO)

Silva(+180), MMA Record: 34-10, UFC Record: 17-6, Current Streak: Two Losses: I could go on for hours about what Anderson has done not only for the UFC but MMA in general. He has every record you can think of in the Middleweight division. When he kicked Vitor in face with that front kick, it was the second PPV I had ever watched. The past couple of years have not been the best of his career. Failed drug tests, injuries, and just a natural decline in performance has been the story for him recently. He is 45 years old and said that this would be his last fight but I would say there is a 50% chance that happens. I just hope he doesn't get a serious injury from this weekend. You hate to see a legend of the sport go out like that. Grades: Striking=9/10, Grappling=8.75/10

IMPORTANT STATS: 62% Striking Accuracy, 61% Striking Defense, 77% Takedown Accuracy, 1.98 Sig. Strikes Absorbed per Minute

NOTABLE WINS: Brunson(UD), Bonnar(TKO), Sonnen(SUB,TKO), Okami(TKO), D. Maia(UD), Griffen(TKO), Cote(TKO), D. Henderson(SUB), R. Franklin(TKO)X2, Marquardt(TKO), Leban(TKO), J. Rivera(TKO), L. Murray(UD), J. Horn(UD), C. Newton(TKO), Belfort(KO)

Mitchell vs Fili: 145lbs

Mitchell(-145), MMA Record: 13-0, UFC Record: 4-0, Current Streak: Four Wins: "Thug Nasty" is one of my favorite fighters right now. He has a scary ground game that other black belts should be weary to test. His stand up has come a long way and I predict that he will get his first KO within his next three fights. He is country strong and is not afraid to take the fight to his opponents. The Arkansas native will be looking to get the biggest win of his career this weekend. If he is successful I would love to see him test his skills on someone ranked in the top 15. Grades: Striking=8.5/10, Grappling=9.25/10

IMPORTANT STATS: 41% Takedown Accuracy, 2.13 Takedowns per 15 Minutes, 1.36 Sig. Strikes Absorbed per Minute, 59% Striking Accuracy

NOTABLE WINS: Rosa(UD), Sayles(SUB)

Fili(+135), MMA Record: 21-7, UFC Record: 9-6, Current Streak: One Win: Fili is one of the most underrated fighter at 145lbs. He has fought the whos who in that division. He has an all around good game. No super big weakness to exploit. Experience will be his biggest advantage in this fight. He was the seventh most fight in Featherweight history with 15. He also has the sixth most wins with 9. A crafty veteran with something to prove, Fili will look to notch that tenth win this Saturday. Grades: Striking=8.75/10, Grappling=8.5/10

IMPORTANT STATS: 69% Takedown Defense, 3.9 Sig. Strikes Landed per Minute, 53% Striking Defense, 36% Striking Accuracy

NOTABLE WINS: Jourdain(SD), Jury(UD), Bermude(SD), Lobov(UD)

Hardy vs Greene: Heavyweight

Hardy(-310), MMA Record: 6-2, UFC Record: 3-2, Current Streak: One Win: Regardless of how you feel about him personally, you have to respect Hardy for sticking with this sport and making real improvement in a rather short time. He has always had cannons in his hands and been as strong as an ox. He has now added technique and it resulted in some good wins for the ex-NFL player. If he gets a win in this fight, I would look for him to be fast tracked to the top 15 and could get title shot if he win two or three more in a row. Grades: Striking=8.75/10, Grappling=7.5/10

IMPORTANT STATS: 83% Takedown Defense, 4.48 Sig. Strikes Landed per Minute, 48% Striking Accuracy, 2.79 Sig. Strikes Absorbed per Minute

NOTABLE WINS: De Castro(UD), Adams(TKO)

Greene(+245), MMA Record: 9-4, UFC Record: 4-2, Current Streak: One Win: The Ultimate Fighter veteran is looking to improve on his winning ways as of late. His striking has come a long way since his days on the reality show. His ground game has been is best weapon for most of his career. He is super long and uses it to his advantage. He does have a bad habit of getting into fire fights when he doesn't need to so if he can avoid that, then he will get the biggest win of his career thus far. Grades: Striking=8.25/10, Grappling=8.75/10

IMPORTANT STATS: 4.31 Sig. Strikes Landed per Minute, 44% Striking Accuracy, 3.96 Sig. Strikes Absorbed per Minute, 47% Striking Defense

NOTABLE WINS: Villante(SUB), Albini(TKO), Hughes(SD)

Under The Radar Fight: Bobby Green(-270) vs Thiago Moises(+220), Alexander Hernandez(-335) vs Chris Gruetzemacher(+270), Adrian Yanez(-280) vs Victor Rodriguez(+240), Jason Witt(-145) vs Cole Williams(+120), Miles Johns(-200) vs Kevin Natividad(+165)
