Felder vs RDA: Dos Anjos put on great performance in his split decision win over Felder last night. One judge somehow gave Felder the fight 48-47 and the others had it 50-45 for RDA. For only taking the fight on five days notice and not stepping into a MMA gym for over four months, Felder didn't look bad and put in a respectable performance. I think RDA needs to stay at Lightweight and go for one more title run. He looks more natural at that weight the it seemed like the weight cut didn't affect his performance. There are a lot of fun matchups for RDA at 155lbs. I saw Conor tweeted about re-booking their elusive fight from a couple of years ago that didn't happen because RDA broke his foot. That fight ended up turning into the Nate Diaz fight and the rest is history. Felder did say that this will not be his last fight and that he got that fire back. I look forward to seeing what the future may hold more both men.
Best of the Rest: Khaos Williams lived up to his namesake. He knocked out Alhassan with one punch, 30 seconds into the first round. He moves to 2-0 inside the octagon. Strickland got his second win in two weeks with a second round TKO over Allen. He needs to get a ranked opponent in his next fight. Mckenna got a close decision victory over Hansen in a true prospect fight at 115lbs. I see both fighters having bright futures in the UFC for a long time. Finally, Murata got the win in her debut against the veteran Markos.
