 Recap: UFC: Hall vs Silva

UFC Fight Night results, highlights: Uriah Hall ends Anderson Silva's UFC career with vicious knockout - CBSSports.com

Grade For Event: B+

Picks Record For Event: 5-2

Hall vs Silva: In what I, and many other people hope is Anderson Silva's last fight, there were some highs and some lows for the Spider. The first round looked good for Silva. He won it on my card and looked a little bit like the old Spider. That didn't last long, with Hall slowly figuring out his opponent as the fight went on. Hall dropped him at the end of the third round and finished the fight in the fourth with a nasty counter punch and some ground and pound. Hall was very emotional after the fight was over. Anderson was too, with him soaking up all the remaining time he had in the octagon. Dana White said after the event that Silva will never fight in the UFC again and that regretted booking this fight with him being 45 years old. I hope Anderson calls it a day. He is a legend of the game and inspired thousands of little boys and girls to get involved in MMA.

Best of the Rest: "Thug Nasty" got the biggest win of his career with a decision over Fili. Greg Hardy got a KO win in the second round over Greene. I think he gets someone ranked in the top 15 next. Kevin Holland looked great with a slam KO win in the first round. He has won four fight just in 2020 alone. Moises got a close decision win over Bobby Green. Alexander Hernandez got back on track with a first round KO. Adrian Yanez looked great in his UFC debut with a vicious first round head kick KO. Strickland got a good decision win after two years away because of injuries and a motorcycle accident. Jason Witt wins by second round submission over Cole Williams. Jacoby made his return to the UFC after making his debut nine years ago. He won by first round KO. Finally, Miles Johns folded his opponent in half with a walk-off third round KO.
